A team of R&D engineers from Satelles authored a new report in Inside GNSS entitled “LEO PNT Performance Report: STL” that details some key performance characteristics of Satellite Time and Location (STL).
This piece underscores the exceptional quality of LEO PNT by proving that Satelles can deliver sub-microsecond timing performance without any reliance on GPS, thereby distinguishing it as a reliable backup to GPS/GNSS for critical infrastructure applications that require precise timing synchronization.
The study further demonstrates that STL is compatible with different types of equipment with wide-ranging operational features and superb performance characteristics, such as the receivers from Orolia and Jackson Labs Technologies featured in the Inside GNSS story.
The article also appears in the January/February 2021 print and digital editions of Inside GNSS.
