The National Space-Based Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Advisory Board provides independent advice to the U.S. government on GPS-related policy, planning, program management, and funding profiles in relation to the current state of national and international satellite navigation services. The Advisory Board meets twice a year. Meetings are generally open to the public.
The Advisory Board is one of three national PNT organizations established under a 2004 presidential policy directive and is chartered as a federal advisory committee and operates under the rules of the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA). NASA sponsors the Advisory Board on behalf of the National Executive Committee for Space-Based PNT. Advisory Board members are nominated by the agencies of the National Executive Committee and appointed by the NASA Administrator. Link to Meeting Agenda
