STL signals are a reliable alternative to augment and authenticate time for applications, such as electrical grids, wireless communications networks, financial systems, and other critical infrastructure.
STL receivers require an antenna that can receive the STL signal broadcasting in the Iridium L-band spectrum.
The following antennas have been STL tested and approved:
HC610 Active STL (Iridium) Helical Antenna
Weighing only 24 g, the patented light and compact HC610 features a precision-tuned helix element that provides excellent axial ratios and operates without the requirement of a ground plane. It is designed to receive Satelles Satellite Time and Location (STL) signals, used by STL receivers to provide timing synchronization to critical infrastructure applications.
HC860 Dual-Purpose Dual-Band GNSS + Active STL (Iridium) Helical Antenna
The patented dual-purpose (GNSS and Iridium signal reception) HC860 helical antenna is designed for precision positioning, covering the GPS/QZSS-L1/L2, GLONASS-G1/G2, Galileo-E1, and BeiDou-B1 frequency bands, including the satellite-based augmentation system (SBAS) available in the region of operation [WAAS (NorthAmerica), EGNOS (Europe), MSAS (Japan), or GAGAN (India)] and for active Iridium signal reception. The HC860 also supports active Iridium® reception in the 1616.0-1626.5 MHz band.

STL + GNSS L1 Antenna
This is a dual-band STL + GNSS L1, multi-constellations antenna. In the STL frequency range, this antenna will operate with the STL low orbit satellite constellation, and in the L1 frequency range with GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou constellations.
This antenna integrates an active low noise amplifier to accommodate long or very long cable runs as well as a sharp out of band signal rejection filter with a linear phase response, making it ideal in particularly hostile RF and environmental conditions when accuracy matters.
